Boone County Pee Wee Football League

Boone County Pee Wee Football League

Welcome to the new Boone County Pee Wee Football League page! We are excited to begin the 2019 year! Registration for Flag Football is now open.

We have a great opportunity to serve the youth of Northern Kentucky through the BCPWFL. This league has been around for over 40 years and we are looking to make it another 40! With the many volunteers, the help of local businesses, parents and families, your support will continue to encourage the involvement of the entire family through integrity, servant-leadership, respect, responsibility and sportsmanship which are our core values.

Our mission and purpose is to instruct youth in the skills of football and cheerleading where they can play, have fun and make lasting friendships through a safe environment that teaches the concept of teamwork, making healthy choices and learning skills that will take them throughout their life.

Generations of families have been a part of the BCPWFL - players, coaches, cheerleaders, team moms, volunteers - the legacy is a gem here in Northern Kentucky and the lasting stories need to be told and carried on.

If you are thinking about joining our family, we would love to have you whether it is to put your kids or grandkids in cheerleading, flag football or tackle football or you would like to coach or volunteer, or you would like to partner with us as a sponsor, please feel free to contact us!

Leadership and Legacy
•Established in 1969, this league has produced many players who have gone on to play college and even professional football. Also, many cheerleaders have gone on to cheer in college. However, we know that most will not continue sports at the next level, so our goal is to make sure we stress the importance of academics and life skills to all the student-athletes that come through our organization.
•The league honors the athletes moving on with a “Senior Night.”
•The league encourages good sportsmanship and respecting each other by having coaches, parents and athletes sign a code of conduct.

Facilities and Events
•The BCPWFL has its own turf field in the heart of Boone County. The field not only has given parents the advantage of not traveling every weekend, but it also is a great venue for soccer leagues to use, and a place to hold other community events.
•The field is the practice facility to BCHS Girls Soccer and NKYSA.
•The field has a full functioning concession stand, a press box with speaker system and lights for night events.
•The field hosts birthday parties, tournaments, carnival, Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Yard Sale, Movie Nights, Football and Cheer Camps.
•The BCPWFL holds a successful cheer competition called Cheer Fest (number of attendees and participants?)

•The BCPWFL mandates that all coaches be NFL Head’s Up certified
•Flag Football Players all have access to be USA Football Members

Academic Encouragement
•Our goal is to encourage the athletes in our league to be outstanding students in the classroom – we will stress this importance by awarding athletes who have good grades
